Hinterland

A new composition project that lies at the nexus of songwriting, improvisation and new music. Featuring strings, accordion, drumset and electronics as well as clarinets and vocals, the words of Emily Dickinson, James Baldwin and Jean Genet are set to music. Collaborators have included free feral, Lou Carrig, Sarah Quintana and Justin Peake.
